| Job description: | Assist OIM with day to day responsibilities including:
Health, Safety and Environment: - Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all persons offshore - Responsible for protection of platform and equipment - In corporate in all platform emergencies
Operations: - Review and update O&M procedures if required - Implement the operations plan and ensure regular feedback and input. - Manage and be responsible for the safe day to day offshore operations - Conduct the daily platform coordination and progress meeting and communication with onshore - Take control, manage and coordinate any emergency situation, following the approved procedures - Manage the platform maintenance program and ensure timely execution and completion - Responsible for gas nomination and ensure targets are achieved - Ensures the plans are carried out and report on the progress. Highlight any concerns. - Review the future plans and comment accordingly - Manage the interface requirements with others, such as drilling, well work-over, construction activities, vendors and visitors. - Responsible for the offshore work program and budget - Conduct routine inspections and audits for all activities, and produce the required reports - Maintain the integrity of the platform and efficient and safe operations - Manage the key performance indicators and results - Ensure efficient platform administration - Coordinate the helicopter and boat schedule. Grant overall approval for the helicopter operations and oncoming visitors. - Ensure the catering meets the requirements of the contract by conducting regular inspections and ensure any deficiencies are rectified. - Ensure regular performance assessments are conducted for employees providing feedback and arranging appropriate training. - Transfer of the knowledge and experience to employees and prepare them for advancement. - Report daily offshore operation to onshore. |
| General: | Job Requirement:
Years of experience: 15
Minimum education level: Bachelor of Engineering - A university degree preference in any engineering field- Must be a certified OIM from an oil and gas authorized establishment - Various technical, management, safety and other related course - Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading) - More than 15 years working experience in oil and gas industry with at least 5 years experience in supervising and managing multi-ethnic and multi-skilled workforce. - Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and responsibility. - Good track record of effective leadership skills in multi-disciplined oil and gas environment. - Have an established record as an OIM, with well developed communication, writing and reporting skills. - Articulate, able to organize own work to meet strict deadlines, production target, maintenance plan and cost control requirements. - Offshore working, rotation/ shift schedule: Two weeks on/ Two weeks off. |
